In 2018, ASFPM Foundation established the Future Leaders Scholarship (FLS) to provide direct, financial assistance, mentoring and support to a deserving college student interested in pursuing a career in a field related to floodplain management.  The ASFPM Foundation recently announce at the 2022 ASFPM Conference that the ASFPM  Foundation will begin to provide funding for a 2nd Future Leaders Scholarship.  ASFPM recently released this article guide on flood risk at the 2022 ASFPM Conference to help people better understand their flood risk and provide them with tools to reduce that risk.
